Jeff Anderson

Originally from Worcester, MA, Jeff Anderson has been a resident of CT since 1976.  Shortly before moving to the land of taxes he discovered rock n’ roll via Aerosmith’s “Get Your Wings” album.  Then Zeppelin, Hendrix, Van Halen, etc.  These were his early influences.  Later, he was introduced to the sounds of REM, Jellyfish, and XTC.  Mostly self-taught, he did take lessons from one of the most innovative guitar players in CT, as well as pursuing a degree in record production and engineering at the Hartford Conservatory.

His debut album, titled "15", is an eclectic collection of catchy alternative/pop tunes with lush Beatle-esque/Beach Boys harmonies along with a unique sense of humor.

Jeff is currently working on his latest project, a collection of songs which he is recording in his home studio.  These songs chronicle relationships - the good, the bad, and the ugly.  This upcoming collection is acoustic based rock and roll.

Signs Of Life
Rock

Josie Crosby has been playing throughout New England for the last five years. She is a prolific songwriter with a generous catalog of original material. Her songs delve into the emotional side of world and personal events, drawing the listener in with her powerful vocal styling. She has recently joined forces with some of South County's most talented musicians and they are shaping into a new and innovative band.

Although it is nearly impossible to confine this group to one genre, one could describe them as roots-infused rock.  Their use of tone and dynamics lock onto the listener as the lyrics engage the mind.

Gena Ross
Rock

Gena Ross co-wrote a musical with Robert Stone called Bigger Fish to Fry and it played in Times Square.

Gena has spent the last 2 years of my life writing and recording this album.

She has taken voice lessons,...but other than that  has never had any musical training.

She can play instruments to write music- but, you'd laugh if she tried to play you a song and sing it at the same time. I write my songs and I couldn't tell you how to hell I played it- I do it once and it's in Ron's hands..

Otherwise is refined energy. The band fuses hard reggae and electronica to form a relentless, crowd-shaking experience. Their lyrics are engaging and inspiring, exploring love, social change, and the catharsis of music and dance. Starting as a four piece outfit in 2002, the band has evolved in many stages and in many ways.

Creating their own studio to record and distribute their music; creating and running their own music festival--Festivus Music Festival--to help promote  area music scene; and recently adding a fifth member, DJ Lock Mess, formerly of Zigs and Bats Circus, Lynch, Acidental Groove, and others.
